Architectural Photography

Architectural photography is about capturing not only the design and accurate representation of a building, but to have the shots be aesthetically pleasing to the viewer’s eye. An architectural photographer makes pictures, not takes pictures.

Still Life Photography

Found

Found still life photographs are random collections of things that are arranged without any outside help, meaning you don’t move them to make your picture look the way you want it.

Created

Created are photographs of objects that you’ve arranged to look a certain way. Created still life photographs can have a theme, such as objects or colors.

Editorial Photography

Editorial imply a narrative or outline a creative concept. “What distinguishes it from advertising is that there’s an element of storytelling to it,”. Editorial images require planning and preparation. photographed in a more intimate or elaborate way that highlights the narrative. 

Sports Photography

Sports photography includes all types of photography that cover every sport and sporting event. This ranges from local and regional sports, high school athletics, all the way to the national and international sport, as well as a professional sport.

Fashion Photography

is a genre of photography which is devoted to displaying clothing and other fashion items. 

Photojournalism

journalism in which written copy is subordinate to pictorial usually photographic presentation of news stories or in which a high proportion of pictorial presentation is used

shows the spaces within the world, sometimes vast and unending, but other times microscopic. Landscape photographs typically capture the presence of nature but can also focus on man-made features or disturbances of landscapes.
